Fifth Week - Monday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during
this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 1892 Medfield High School Principal George Burrage was fired by the school committee on the charge of “lack of discipline.” Every high school student signed a petition asking he be retained. That petition was rejected by the school committee. In support of Principal Burrage all five members of the senior class quit school before the end of the year. No students graduated from Medfield High School in 1892 or 1893."
