Join Us For A Composting Workshop In Medfield

Supporters of Sustainable Medfield will give a composting workshop in the Meeting Room at the Medfield Public Library on Monday, Nov 4, from 5-6 p.m.

Lauren Beitelspacher, Medfield resident and Babson professor in marketing, will address the importance of composting to divert food waste from landfills. Lauren is an enthusiastic, persuasive speaker. She is personally and professionally committed to combining sustainability with her marketing pursuits.

Jackie Alford is a leading proponent of activities of Sustainable Medfield. She will share practical tips for getting started with backyard composting and other composting options. They complement each other: Lauren's presentation reinforces Jackie's long-term commitment to composting, and Jackie is well-versed in techniques of backyard composting in Medfield.
