"King Philip's War: The History and Legacy of America's Forgotten Conflict" with Eric B. Schultz - FREE Presentation at the MPL
This year marks the 350th anniversary of the start of King Philip’s War, a brutal, two-year struggle between New England’s Native Americans and the English settlers. Fought in southern New England, the War ended fifty years of peace and changed the cultural and political landscape of New England forever.
Eric B. Schultz will be at the Medfield Public Library to discuss his book and review the War's events, participants, causes, literature, and legacy, including the infamous attack on Medfield in February 1676.

Eric B. Schultz is the author of “King Philip’s War: The History and Legacy of America’s Forgotten Conflict” (with Michael Tougias, Countryman Press, 2017). He is a Director Emeritus of the New England Historic Genealogical Society and the Gettysburg Foundation, and is a current Director of the Old Colony History Museum in Taunton.
