Medfield Big Blue Defeats Hopkinton 77-67
4 players score in double figures leading the Big Blue to a 7-1 record
The Medfield High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team was hitting on all cylinders Friday night hitting 13 three pointers on the road in Hopkinton. Captain John Williams led the team with 19 points (4 three pointers).
Captain senior point guard Evan Howells (in picture on right) contributed with 18 including 4 three pointers. Matt Johnson (in picture on left) hit 5 three pointers and a total of 17 points. Senior Captain Jack Madej also scored in double figures with 17 points and 8 rebounds. John Lowell also played well for the Big Blue.
Earlier in the week the Big Blue defeated Bellingham 74-59 at home. Jack Madej led the team with 26 points and 14 rebounds. Junior Chris McGrory scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds. Evan Howells played well with 11 points and Matt Johnson scored 12.

The Big Blue are now 6-0 in the league and 7-1 overall. Next week the Big Blue have three games beginning on Monday at home hosting Holliston 6:30pm. Wednesday @Ashland and Friday @ Dover Sherborn.
