Medfield Election 2020: How To Request A Mail-In Ballot

The Secretary of State is allowing any registered voter to request a mail-in ballot for elections being held on or before June 30.

MEDFIELD, MA — With municipal elections across Massachusetts already delayed to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus, the Secretary of State's office said Wednesday any registered voter in Massachusetts can request a mail-in ballot for elections being held on or before June 30.

Last month, Medfield Selectmen approved delaying the annual election to May 4 from March 30 under authority granted from the state in an effort to slow the spread of the new coronavirus. Town meeting was also pushed back to June 15 from May 4.

In-person voting is still available for the town election, and all voters should follow social distanicng guidelines, but mail-in ballots are an option if you prefer not to go to the polls.
