Medfield Field Hockey Loses One, Wins One
Medfield Field Hockey lost 2-1 on Wednesday at Dover Sherborn and rebounded for a road win on Friday in Ashland 1-0.

The Medfield Warrior Field Hockey team opened up its season this week with a pair of road games.
The first game a Dover Sherborn was played in above 90 degree heat, but both teams held nothing back. Medfield kept knocking on the door to try to tie the score in the late minutes, but came up short losing 2-1.Kate Slowe scored the lone goal for Medfield with an assist by Tess Beardsley. Naomi Lau and Anna Pagliarulo contributed with fine efforts.
The next game on Friday was in Ashland with the Warriors coming out on top 1-0. Senior Captain Olivia Feldman scored with seconds left in the first half with the assist from Anna Pagliarulo. MaryGrace Petrie played well at sweeper for the Lady Warriors. Also playing well was Freshman Erin Seibel at center forward. Elizabeth Keleher notched the shutout in net for Medfield. Next game at home Wednesday 6:30 on the turf vs. Westwood.
