Medfield Fire Crews Extinguish Mulch Fire on West Mill Street

Crews with the Medfield Fire Department responded to Sam White & Sons, a local landscape supplier on West Mill Street, to battle a mulch fire on the property Saturday night, MFD reported Sunday.

Reports of the fire came in around 7:48 p.m. Saturday, and Medfield Chief William Kingsbury, Engines 1 and 2, Ambulance 1 and Squad 6 all responded to the scene. It took more than three hours for crews to clear the scene; the Millis Fire Department covered the Medfield station during the incident, according to MFD.
