Kids and their parents enjoyed the annual Medfield Fire Department Open House on Thursday, October 10th.
Fire Prevention Week, Medfield Fire Department Open House...
Although turn out was low due to the chilly and wet weather, the kids and parents that attended Thursday evening's Medfield Fire Department's annual Open House enjoyed themselves.
The children got to climb on the fire engines and other emergency vehicles as well as and hold a fire hose directed at a "flame" with the assistance of the Medfield Firefighters.
Plastic Fire chief hats were given out to kids and pizza, donated by Papa Gino's, was enjoyed by young and old. Youngsters were also given coloring books and activities books to learn about fire safety.

A Fire Prevention trailer was brought to Medfield from the Framingham Fire Department and
children were given the chance to crawl through a smoke filled room to teach them the proper way to exit a smoke filled home.
Thank you, Chief Carrico and all the members of the Medfield Fire Department.
