Medfield Honors Veterans On 11/11

An annual Veterans Day ceremony in Medfield, honoring all veterans was held at Baxter Park at 5pm.

American Legion Beckwith Post 110 and ALA110 Honor Veterans

Medfield celebrates Veterans annually, with a brief ceremony held at Baxter Park held by the Beckwith Post Legion and the Auxiliary Legion members.

The ceremony honors all Veterans and the Medfield community is encouraged to attend.

At 5pm, the sky was dark, but the moon was bright and the temperatures were mild. In the darkness luminaria bags lined the walkways, each one etched with the name of a Veteran from all branches of the armed services. Michelle Doucette, a member of the ALA110 organizes the luminaria sales portion of the ceremony and it is heartwarming to see the names of all who served this nation.
