Quilted Coffee Sleeves

Save your hands, Save the Earth! For this project we'll use leftover fabric scraps to make a tiny, reusable coffee cup quilt. Keep it in your purse or glovebox and conserve a little bit of cardboard every time you stop for a latte.
This is a great project for all skill levels, even if you've never used a sewing machine before! Experienced sewists will probably have time to make two! Please register as space is limited.

Knitting Clinic & Club

The Knitting Club is back and better than ever! Knitters of all skill levels from never-held-a-pair-of-needles to I-make-sweaters-for-all-my-relatives are welcome in this drop-in social session. Our resident Master Knitter, Cindy, will always be around and ready to help you get started on your first-ever attempt at knitting, or to help you decipher a complicated pattern, fix a mistake, or just to talk about how much you love to knit!
Knitting Clinic and Club will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. There's no need to register (just drop by anytime!) but if you would like to get an email reminder, please feel free to register.
Beginners: we'll have needles and yarn to get you started. You can even check them out and take them home, so don't forget your library card!

Valentine's Day Glass Etching for Adults

Come in and make a last-minute, personalized Valentine's Day gift! Choose a pint glass, stemless wine glass, or whiskey tumbler and let us know what initials you want in your design and we'll have all the supplies ready for you to etch your own glass!

Medfield Library announces recurring activities
The STEAM Room – Medfield Library’s Makerspace
Open during Library’s open hours
Staffed Hours: Wednesdays, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Free; no registration required
Patrons of all ages can drop in to use the Makerspace whenever the library is open! However, on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00 pm, library staff is also there to help with the equipment, tools and toys we have available. We've got a sewing machine, vinyl cutter, 3D pens, and jewelry making, embroidery & duct tape craft supplies-just to name a few! We'll also have a craft or activity set up and ready to go if you're unsure of what to try. And don’t forget, the STEAM Room is open and available for use anytime that the library is open for everyone aged 16+ and/or children accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Storytime - Preschool Pageturners
Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11:45-12:15 p.m.

Ages 3 – 5. This program for preschoolers is designed to encourage the love of books that help develop important early literacy skills. Participants are encouraged to separate from their caregiver for the first part of the program, but we ask for help with our craft at the end. Please note, there are No Storytimes on Feb. 19 & 20.
