At 12:26 pm, 7/25/19, the Medfield Fire Department was dispatched to 5 Millbrook Road in Medfield for a man who shot himself in the knee with a nail gun.
Units arrived on scene and found an adult male on the roof of a 3 story wood frame, seated, with a 2.5 inch nail deeply embedded in his right knee.

The box alarm was struck and Ladder requested to the scene. Units determined the safest way to extricate the patient was through the3rd floor dormer window.
Patient was safely removed from the roof and transported to Norwood Hospital without incident.
