Medfield Man, Two Others Arrested After Mistakenly Texting A Police Officer About Drug Sale

They allegedly offered to sell the officer drugs.

Three men were arrested in Orleans on Thursday after they allegedly mistakenly texted a police officer about a drug sale.

Orelans Police met the men in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot and arrested Santiago Garza of Woonsocket, RI, David Marin of Milford, MA, and Joseph Gately of Medfield, MA, reported The Boston Globe.

They were charged with possessing heroin with the intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
