Monday, August 14

12:40pm - Main St caller reports dog locked in vehicle in Marshalls parking lot. 330 and ACO Sallee notified and responding. 330 located owner and advised. Requests to cancel ACO Sallee. 330 spoke with calling party as well.

1:50pm - Caller reports a customer of Bank of America was depositing checks last Thursday when a red p/u truck pulled up and a party got out. The party from the truck then walked up behind the bank customer and the customer is now concerned that account info may have been stolen. 330 notified and responding.

2:48pm - Woman called from Medfield Town Hall to report she received a call from a motorist to report a UPS truck had some boxes fall out of the back of the truck on Philip Street. Unknown where on that street. Caller reports he spoke with a UPS driver and he checked Philip Street and he is not missing any boxes. He did report on Foundry St there are some boxes and a bag of trash on the side of the street to be picked up.

Tuesday, August 15

8:31am - Boyden Rd caller reports dog got loose. Dog looks like a fat golden retriever with white spot on forehead. ACO Laplante notified.

6:36pm - Man called from North St to report when he was in the crosswalk at North and Janes Ave. a man on a black and blue motorcycle drove by him when he was in the crosswalk. He was driving up North Street at the time. 334 reports a check of the area and streets with no luck.

Wednesday, August 16

12:06pm - Walk in - man from Dover came into the station to report he lost his diamond ring valued at $40,000. The ring was in a light black bag. He lost it somewhere in the parking lot of the CVS Store, sometime between 10am and 11am today. If located, please call him asap.

1:23pm - Man came into the station to report he found his diamond ring in his house in Dover.

4:23pm - Cell caller reports a black Dodge Neon speeds up Nebo St almost every day between 4pm and 4:30pm and he would like a patrol car to try to be in that area around that time if possible to catch him.

6:19pm - Cell caller reports she locked her keys in her car at CVS, Car 330 notified and is out.

7:36pm - Harding St - Caller reports she struck a deer on Harding Street near Hospital Road and the deer is injured. 334 unit notified to respond. 334 unit reports the ACO put down the deer and no visible damage to the vehicle.

Thursday, August 17

8:37am - Man called to report the traffic lights at Main St and South St are not working. 330 reports he reset the traffic lights and there is no problem now.

9:35am - Walk in - man came into the station to speak with an officer about a problem he had when he was riding his bike on Harding St on Wednesday afternoon. The motorist came very close to him. 338 spoke with the man.

1:52pm - Desk officer received a misdialed E911 from Roch Bros, 446 Main St. Woman states it was an accident. 330 reports accidental.

3:20pm - 911 Fire Call - Caller reports her 14 month old son was locked in a bedroom. Caller called back to report she gained access to the room. A1 notified to cancel. 338 sent to confirm.

Friday, August 18

8:20am - Fire Call - South St - ADT reports residential fire alarm at above address. Box 421 struck. A1, 801, and 330 notified and responding. ADT called back to report they spoke to homeowner. Construction in progress caused false alarm and to cancel response. A1 and 330 cancelled. 801 still enroute to confirm. 801 confirms accidental.

8:20am - Medfield State Hospital - caller reports his workers finding some smoldering ashes in woods. Reports one of his workers put water on the ashes. 334 notified and responding. Clear.

8:40pm - South St caller reports she has a bat in her house. ACO Laplante notified. ACO Laplante retrieved bat. Also removed dead animal from route 27 near Walpole line.

Saturday, August 19

8:13am - Caller reports traffic lights not working properly at Rt 109 and Rt 27 intersection. 338 notified and responding.

8:25am - Caller reports dead baby deer on side of road. ACO Laplante notified and he asked to call DPW. Bobby Jr. notified.

10:06am - CVS - caller reports vehicle rolled out of handicap parking space and is blocking parking lot. 331 notified and responding. 331 reports vehicle is not in the way and vehicles can get around it.

11:56am - 911 - Cell caller reports a dog locked in vehicle. 338 and ACO Laplante notified and responding. 338 reports owner of vehicle on scene.

3:18pm - Sportsman Club Noon Hill Rd - caller reports he is concerned with the noise and what they may be firing at the gun club. He reports it sounds like they are firing M-16 and it sounds like 50 Cal rifle rounds. I told him that I had no idea what is allowed and would try to find out what is allowed.

5:45pm - Quail Run - caller reports he has a hawk in his back porch. It will not fly out. I notified the on call ACO and he will handle. Caller reports he left the back porch open. ACO Laplante reports clear, baby hawk removed.

8:25pm - caller from Pleasant St reports fireworks going off on Pleasant St just down from the Bank of America. 330 notified and he spoke to two people who reported they may have come from Miller St. All quiet now.

Sunday, August 20

12:45am - An off duty State Trooper called re a car that passed him and two other cars almost hitting his car on Main St then turned around heading toward Westwood. Cars notified and Westwood PD notified. Car 330 reports he is out with this car on Main St.

1:39am - 911 call - caller from Green St called. He had some friends over and Car 330 reports there are at least 50 cars at this party, parked in the Swim Pond lot. Subject, the homeowner, was told that he has to clean up the parking lot of beer cans and bottles in the morning or he will be charged.

5:38pm - Cumberland Farms - worker called from this address, 560 Main St to request an officer. A hypodermic needle was found on the property and subject would like it removed. 338 picked up the needle.

9:00pm - Woman called from Green St to request the animal control officer for a bat she has in her house. ACO enroute.

Monday, August 21

10:00am - 338 reports a citizen informing him of a golden retriever off lease in the area of Main St. ACO Cronin notified. ACO Cronin reports no dog in the area.

10:37am - 338 reports train crossing bars did not drop. Contacted Mass Coastal and they are aware and the bars are out of service at the moment. 338 informed.
