Medfield Public Schools 2020-2021 Reopening Plans

The Medfield School Committee held a lengthy meeting tonight and voted to approve the draft Hybrid Model Reopening Plan.

Medfield School Committee Unanimously Approves (Draft) Hybrid School Reopening Model

The Medfield School Committee began their Zoom meeting at 5:30pm on Thursday, August 6th, with Superintendent Jeff Marsden presenting the 2020-2021 school year reopening plans.

The meeting went for approximately 3 hours discussing the options for reopening schools on September 16th. Parents and residents were given the opportunity to ask questions and over 150 questions were asked via Zoom.

The Hybrid Model was recommended by Superintendent Marsden, and he explained that using the 6' social distancing was important and because of spacial restrictions it would not be possible for all students to attend an in school reopening.
