Medfield Celebrated Arbor Day at Metacomet Park

Under a sunny sky, yet chilly morning Medfield Celebrated its annual "Tree City" Arbor Day Celebration at Metacomet Park.

The Forest Pansy Eastern Rebud (known as Red Bud) tree planted this year will be eye-catching and beautiful when it is in full bloon next spring/summer.

Medfield Select Board chair, Eileen Murphy, read the official Arbor Day Proclamation in front the newly planted tree alongside DPW Director Moe Goulet, and DPW Bobby Kennedy, with her furry friend Rooney looking on.
