Medfield's Vine Lake Preservation Trust - Our Redesigned Website has Launched!
The Trust partnered with Diane Borrelli who took our previously dated website and doubled it in size with new photos, appealing subjects, and inspiring pages.
Start on the Home page which offers four distinctive cemetery photographs by Edmund Prescottano and John Kolher's welcoming video of our cemetery, founded in 1651.
Find out what's happening in Medfieldfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
You'll then want to discover new variations on traditional themes throughout the website.
- Find the oldest marked grave (hint: Lydia Lovell)
- Read the hidden story about Medfield's last Native American
- Locate a remarkable symbol on Little Vinnie's memorial
- Appreciate the scholarship of two pre-eminent gravestone scholars
- Catch the 1736 use of the cemetery
- Note the distinguished life of Dr. John Henry Richardson
- Use the calendar to volunteer and keep up-to-date
- Conduct burial searches using new databases
- Purchase gravestone art crafted from early gravestones
- Download the app to discover who's buried in marked and unmarked graves
This month's edition of Quiet Voices is decidedly brief in its content so that you can spend more time discovering pages in our new website. We hope you will, and we welcome your comments.
