MLK Day, Jan 20th, Blood Drive at Blake Middle School...

REMINDER: The annual Martin Luther King Day Blood Drive scheduled for Monday, January 20th from 8am-2pm at the Blake Middle School Gym.

The annual Martin Luther King Day Blood Drive scheduled for Monday, January 20th from 8am-2pm at the Blake Middle School Gym.

This Blood Drive is mainly organized and run by a committee of students at both Blake Middle School and Medfield High School and this is their 5th year running. Students who participate in this event from the Middle School find it is such an amazing experience they keep coming back, even after they leave Blake and are now students at Medfield High School.

The goal of hosting the drive on MLK Day is to get the message across that Martin Luther King Day is an "ON" day and not an "OFF" day, it is a time to give back to the community.

In addition to the Blood Drive students are invited to come to the school from 10-12 and help clean the classrooms for the teachers.

This Blood Drive is open to the public and we would appreciate getting the message out that we are looking for donors.
