Dear Medfield Community,
Our month-long food drive in front of the Public Safety Building ended on Wednesday, May 20th. On behalf of the Medfield Food Cupboard I want to thank the entire community for its unbelievably generous support — this drive was a tremendous success!

In my estimation we collected approximately 15,000 pounds of our most needed items. That is A LOT OF FOOD! Twice a day, for a month, my husband and I picked up donations, and more often than not, the trailer was full.
I would also like to give a special shout out to: Rogan and Robbins Advertising for the beautiful and professional ad campaign they donated to us, the Hometown Weekly for their terrific coverage of the drive, the DPW for the use of their trailer for the food collection, and the
members of the Fire/Police Station who shared their lot with us.

Over the course of the month donors expressed to me how much they appreciated the opportunity to help their neighbors, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support. The donations we received this last month will help support us in the upcoming months of uncertainty.
Thank you, thank you! Your generosity is heartwarming to us all.
Please keep well,
Abby Marble, MFC Director of Food Donations
