MPD issues statement 8/8/19 West Mill Street area Road Closures

MPD Twitter account and MPD Chief Michelle Guerette info re the 8/8/19 road closures in the West Mill Street area...

On Thursday, August 8th, at 12:31pm, the MPD tweeted out:

"The following roads will be closed until further notice: West at West Mill, Harding at West Mill, and West at Adams. Please seek alternate routes. Direct any questions regarding traffic to uniformed officers."

On Thursday, August 8th, at 1:53pm, the MPD tweeted out:

"Thank you to the residents and local businesses for their cooperation. All roads are now open."

Medfield Police Chief Guerette provided Medfield PATCH with the following statement on Thursday, August 8th at 11:42pm:

"Officers responded to the area of West Mill at the railroad tracks for an investigation into an injured party.

Medical services were provided on scene and railway and vehicle traffic were diverted pending
investigation.

Transit Police responded to assume control with MPD providing logistical support. Neighboring Walpole and Millis PD assisted in maintaining police services during the investigation. All inquiries should be directed to Transit Police."
