Paying Respect to Phil Burr - Live Streaming and Sidewalk
Burr's funeral Mass will be broadcast on Medfield TV... friends are encouraged to line the sidewalk on Rt 27./Main St., not go to St Edward.
Medfield residents have Alternative ways to Pay their Respects...
Medfield's beloved Phil Burr's funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 17th at St. Edward the Confessor Church at 10am.
In light of the current Coronavirus concerns in regard to the number of people gathering in the church, friends are encouraged to watch the Mass on Medfield TV. The funeral will be broadcast on the Public Channel (Comcast 8) and (Verizon 47) at 10am.
If you do not have cable is will also be Live on the Medfield TV Watch page Click here.In addition, the family and Roberts Mitchell Funeral Home in cooperation with Medfield Police Department suggest Phil's friends, relatives and other residents who want to pay their respects and pause to honor Phil, stand on the sidewalk from St. Edward Church (Rt 27) to Vine Lake Cemetery (Main St), instead of attending the funeral Mass.

However, please keep in mind that everyone MUST keep a social distance of 6' from one another while paying their respects and/or saluting as the procession goes by.
