Peak House Pantry and White Elephant Sale
Get Fresh Baked Pies, Vermont Cheese, White Elephant Finds and Pre-Order Richard DeSorgher's New Book
Have you driven by the Peak House for years and never visited? Now is your chance! The Medfield Historical Society and Museum is hosting the annual Peak House Pantry and White Elephant Sale on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9 am – 1 pm at the Peak House located at 345 East Main Street.
The Peak House Pantry Sale has been a town tradition for over 45 years! Stop by early to pick up home-baked pies, breads and cookies as well as a wedge of sharp Vermont cheese cut by our new cheese-cutter extraordinaire, Curator Dan Medeiros, who has picked up the cheese-cutting reins from former Curator Mike Stamer. Browse the white elephant tables for treasures and novelties and take a tour of the house while you’re there. All proceeds support the ongoing maintenance of the Peak House.
Plus, while you’re there you can pre-order a copy of Richard DeSorgher’s newest book, “This Old Town, FLeetwood 9.” The name of the new book is an attempt to recall the early telephone piece of Medfield’s history; FLeetwood 9. It will feature 63 stories about Medfield and its people. It will be available the first week of December and will be delivered the week of December 6 for free within the town of Medfield.

The Peak House is one of a kind. Owned by the Medfield Historical Society since 1924, it is one of the few surviving examples of post-medieval English architecture in the United States and is the only free standing structure of its kind in America.
Come learn about the history of the house (there are many stories), enjoy the sale, grab some wonderful holiday food items and help out a great cause!
