PHOTOS: Pan Mass Riders come through MEDFIELD...

Exciting to see the Pan Mass Challenge riders come through Medfield on their way to Cape Cod!

Hundreds of Pan Mass Challenge riders came through Medfield Saturday morning on the first leg of their 2-day ride! The riders started coming up North Street, crossing Main Street and heading down Pleasant Street toward Rt. 27 beginning around 7:15 a.m. Kids and adults woke up early and held signs on their front lawns. In the center of Medfield people were ringing cowbells, cheering on the riders and applauding. A few riders stopped for a moment to give their family members a hug and take a few photos before getting back on their bikes. Jack Conway Realty employees stood in front of their office on North Street again this year and were handing out water bottles to the riders.

The PMC Mission

Until we find a cure

The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Since its
founding in 1980, the PMC has successfully melded support from committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors and individual contributors. All are essential to the PMC's goal and model: to attain maximum
fundraising efficiency while increasing its annual gift. Our hope and aspiration is to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers with the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
