Seventeenth Week - Tuesday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"On September 5, 1975 the Peak House was accepted in the listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The historic house was turned over to the Medfield Historical Society in 1924 by owner Fred Mason Smith. The final deed stipulated that the property shall never be mortgaged; and that if at any time the Historical Society shall be unable to maintain the house, it must transfer ownership to an organization devoted to preserving New England antiquities."
