Seventh Week - Saturday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 1934 May Lynch was instantly killed near her home on Spring Street when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Mrs. Lynch was walking home along Spring Street carrying bundles of groceries when she was struck down. A neighbor, Everett Dewer, heard the crash and when he went outside he heard a person in the car yell “put out the lights and step on the gas.” She was the widow of Daniel Lynch and was survived by her seven children."
