A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1890, artist John J. Francis used the upper room of the Peak House as an “artist den.” Francis, a young artist had gained fame and notoriety in Boston. As a friend of artist George Cass, Francis pained Medfield’s scenery. Francis, like famed artist George Inness, found the Medfield scenery “that which delights the eye.”
