Sixteenth Week - Thursday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"The history of Medfield begins with the town of Dedham. Dedham originally included the territory that is now Medfield as well as 15 other nearby towns. “Mother” Dedham included the territory that eventually saw Medfield break away and become its own town in 1651, followed by Wrentham in 1673, Needham in 1711, Medway in 1713, Bellingham in 1719, Walpole in 1724, Franklin in 1778, Foxboro in 1778, Dover in 1836, Hyde Park in 1868, Norfolk in 1870, Norwood in 1872, Wellesley in 1881, Millis in 1885 and Westwood in 1897."
