The Medfield Chapter of the Savvy Women’s Alliance will be hosting a presentation on Wednesday April 3rd at 7 p.m. on Removing Common Toxins from Your Home. Dr. Hannah Gardener, neuro epidemiologist, Savvy Board member and founder of A Green Slate, will show us how to take some simple steps to remove some common toxins from our home and offer suggestions for alternatives. A healthier home makes for a healthier family! She will also offer insight into her research on the environmental and dietary risk factors for chronic neurological diseases. Check out her website at agreenslate.com. Please email Erica at ericareilly@gmail.com or Helen at hdewey@comcast.net for further details and location.

The Annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup takes place on Saturday, April 27th 9-12 noon. Members of the Medfield Savvy Women’s Alliance will join other community volunteers to work together on this day of stewardship so that all can enjoy the Charles River throughout the year. Volunteers will pick up litter, remove invasive species and assist with park maintenance along the Charles River in Medfield. Come join us and give back to your community! Please contact Barb Meyer at bwmp2052@verizon.net to volunteer or for more information.
