Tenth Week - Friday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 2004 Medfield’s Keepers of the Town Clock (located below the steeple of the First Parish Church on North Street), Marc Tishler and Dave Maxson reported that:” Frank Sinatra said it best, ‘It was a good year, a very good year.’ Aside from setting the clock for Daylight Savings Time and Eastern Standard Time, your Town Clock had no service interruptions for the entire year except for one power outage in the summer. Despite a very onerous winter, the Town Clock was sparred the mishaps of pervious years when ice would freeze the South End clock hands and proceed to strip all screws in the second story works.”
