Tenth Week - Sunday's "Medfield Historical Minute"
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis.

A Medfield Historical Minute...
This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.
"In 1928 a fire broke out in Monk’s block in the cobbler shop of Alfred Zullo causing considerable damage but was kept under control by firefighters from Medfield and Millis who responded to the blaze. Monks Block was the largest building in Medfield and at the time contained several stores on the ground level, the telephone exchange and Old Fellow’s Hall besides a number of offices on the upper floors."
