A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1894, the Boston Branch Grocery Store’s (22 North Street/Larkins Medfield Package Store) proprietors Samuel Keniston and Clinton Clark celebrated the eighth anniversary of the opening of their store. Upwards of 700 people attended the celebration held at the Elmwood Hotel (now Montrose School parking lot area), which was trimmed with flags and bunting and illuminated with Chinese lanterns."
