A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"In 1882 William Tilden resigned from the school committee. Fellow school committee members reported that “Mr. Tilden had become the most active member on the Committee. Entering into the management of the schools with his usual energy and zeal, he was able to accomplish much good and was a great loss to the board.”
