A Medfield Historical Minute...

This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.
A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis.

"Abigail Bullard was the daughter of John and Magdalen. Her family came to Medfield in 1651 at the founding of the town. Their house lot was where CVS is located today. In 1661 she married Quintane Stockwell and moved to Deerfield. There her husband was taken captive by Native-Americans during an attack on Deerfield. He was released after several months of captivity and returned to Abigail and Deerfield."
