An Update from us on COVID-19 from Medfield TS & Recycling....
As we all do our part to react to the COVID-19 pandemic the following changes have been made to activities at the Transfer Station.
- The Transfer Station has added Sunday hours beginning this Sunday, March 22. The hours will be 9-4 each day the TS is open: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (through the end of April).
- Mattresses are not being accepted at the Transfer Station until further notice
- The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Collection days scheduled for April have been cancelled.
- The Swap area will NOT be opening as scheduled. It possibly will open in June, but like everything else, this is a constantly changing issue. Setup for the Swap takes 2 weeks, so we will keep the public informed as to when it can open
- Medfield Green Month collections for May are on hold at this time.
- If you are gathering items for donation, please BAG OR BOX all donations. We anticipate a lot of people will be donating, so please help us use the space in the Epilepsy trailer efficiently and BAG OR BOX EVERYTHING so it can be stacked.
- Please note Epilepsy Foundation do NOT accept furniture. If furniture is placed inside the trailer, it will be disposed of. Please organize/stack your items when you leave them in the trailer so the space is well-utilized.
- Please do not leave items outside the other donation bins if they are full. If your donation bin of choice is full, please choose another bin to deposit your donations. They are all for a good cause. At the moment all the collection bins and the trailer are being serviced regularly. Also consider utilizing organizations that pick-up curbside such as:
