Updated information - S.A.F.E. Grant

Medfield Fire Chief William Carrico has provided some updated information regarding the recently awarded S.A.F.E. Grant.

Adjusted S.A.F.E. Grant dollars will be awarded to MFD!

On January 2, 2019, Chief William Carrico, II announced the Fire Dept received a Student Awareness of Fire Education (S.A.F.E.) Grant, and on January 8th, Carrico issued the following update:

"The DFS notified me that we are to receive $4,154 [not the full amount of $6,754] because we have not applied for the grant in a while and have to start with a planning grant again. Next year will be the full amount."
