The Center at Medfield proudly welcomes Lisa Donovan as its new Outreach and Program Coordinator. A life-long resident of Medfield, Lisa brings a refreshing combination of high energy and passion to her new position.
The Center’s goal is to enhance the quality of life for seniors by promoting independence and providing programs, social events, services, and referrals. In her new role Lisa will be the Center’s liaison to local and community elder service providers on behalf of Medfield’s elder population and their families. Lisa will also assist other town residents at risk, organizing and facilitating support groups, and participating and planning programming.

Lisa received her Masters of Science degree from Wheelock College in child and family services; family, culture, and society. Her varied professional experience includes being a certified child life specialist and clinical leader at Shriners Hospital for Children; team teacher at the Medfield Afterschool Program; consultant at the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors; and private contracted child life specialist at Hopehealth. Lisa’s professional associations include the Child Life Council, Tufts University, Wheelock College, and Merrimack College. Lisa’s Medfield associations include her role as Commissioner of the Medfield Housing Authority (1999 – 2014) and serving as its current Chairman, President of the American Legion Auxiliary – Beckwith Post 110 (2010-2013), and Coordinator for Teen Volunteers at the Medfield Animal Shelter (2011-2014).
Lisa resides in Medfield with her husband Brian and family.

The Center at Medfield is very fortunate to have Lisa as an integral member of its dedicated leadership team. Everyone at The Center looks forward to helping Lisa apply her life experience and love of Medfield to improving the lives of its elder population.
