MEDFIELD, MA — Medfield residents made 71 contributions totaling $19,154.22 to presidential candidates in 2019, according to year-end campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.
The biggest beneficiary was former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, whose presidential campaign received $5,800 from Medfield donors. In second was former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, whose campaign received $3,550 from Medfield donors, though he has since dropped out of the race. President Donald Trump received $225.50 for his re-election campaign from town residents.
