Domestic Incident Prompts Large Police Presence In Medford

MEDFORD, MA — An incident at a residence resulted in a large police presence on Sunday.

Police responded to the residence on George Street in the morning and remained for multiple hours.

“The investigation included a crime scene extending into a nearby public area while searching for evidence related to the incident,” Medford police said in a statement. “There is no ongoing threat to the community.”

The department confirmed to Patch that the situation was a domestic incident; however because of that, no further details will be revealed at this time.
