2 People Found Passed Out Had Warrants: Melrose Police Log

There were three arrested in Melrose last week.

MELROSE, MA — The following are excerpts from last week's Melrose Police log. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Aug. 27

4:12 a.m. - A caller reported suspicious activity near the front door on Essex Street. A 22-year-old Maynard woman was arrested on charges of breaking and entering during the nighttime for a felony and possessing a burglarious instrument. responded.

7:15 p.m. - A vehicle was towed on Franklin Street. A 36-year-old Melrose man from Boston Rock Road was summonsed on charges of uninsured motor vehicle on public way.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

6:18 p.m. - Walk-in report of a restraining order violation. A 43-year-old Lawrence man was summonsed on charges of violating a harassment prevention order.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

1:14 p.m. - A DPW worker discovered a woman passed out in Wyoming Cemetery. A 34-year-old Somerville woman was arrested on a warrant.

Thursday, Aug. 30

6:18 am. - A nursing home reported someone facedown on the ground in front of Ell Pond. A 27-year-old Billerica man was arrested on warrant charges.

8:48 a.m. - A restraining order violation was reported. A 35-year-old Melrose man from East Foster Street was issued a summons for violating an abuse prevention order.
