80s Dance Party Coming to Melrose

Did you see these cool cats dressed in their tubular 80s costumes, walking around downtown Melrose, dancing to Prince? No, you weren't dreaming, Temple Beth Shalom(TBS) is gearing up for a rad 80s night dance party, and these 'cool cats' were helping to sell tickets.

From the Cabbage Patch Kids to the fall of the Berlin Wall, we can all agree that the 1980s were pretty rad. In honor of all things 80s, we invite you to demonstrate your best Electric Slide, Moonwalk, or even Lawnmower at TBS's first annual "Livin' on a Prayer" 80s Dance Party on April 28. This event will feature live music from Scattershot.

Doors open at 7:30 PM. Break out your shoulder pads, leg warmers, and big suits! 80s attire is strongly encouraged! It's even making a fashion comeback.

Tickets are $35 each, include a drink and heavy appetizers. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

All proceeds benefit Temple Beth Shalom of Melrose. OPEN TO ALL.
