John H. Gately of Melrose recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire. John is the son of John and Lorraine Gately of Ardsmoor Road, Melrose and is the fifth generation of Gately Funeral Home. John is a 2007 graduate of Melrose High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in history with minors in political science and business. John has been working in the family business the last 6 years and will be going to school to obtain his funeral director’s license.
