In Melrose, we care for our seniors!

Join us at the Milano Senior Center for a wide variety of activities and programs including educational and wellness programs, entertainment, parties, movies, crafts, games, lunch, public computers and computer lessons, book clubs, transportation, trips and more. SENIOR DINING PROGRAM

Delicious noontime meals are served each weekday in the Milano Center. The lunch program is run in cooperation with MVES, Inc. To reserve a meal call 781-662-6886 between 10:00-11:45 a.m. at least a day before you plan to attend. A $2.00 meal donation is requested. Rides are available by calling 781-665-4304 ($1 suggested donation).

COMMUNITY DINNER

Mayor Dolan invites you to come to the Community Dinner on Tuesday evenings from 5-6 p.m. at the Milano Senior Center. Reservations are requested by Friday and may be made by calling 781-662-6886.

LEARN TO USE COMPUTERS

Learn to use email, send pictures, surf the internet and much more. Lessons are offered 4 days a week.

SHINE COUNSELORS

Visit SHINE counselors at the Milano Senior Center for valuable unbiased health insurance information or help dealing with health insurance related problems.

ASK A NURSE

Individualized health care counseling. The nurse will check your blood pressure, listen to your lungs and answer your health related questions. “Ask a Nurse” is free and no appointments are necessary.

MINIBUS

Trips to Shaws, Johnnie’s Foodmaster, the Meadow Glen Mall, the Square One Mall, Melrose hairdressers, banks, pharmacies, doctors and more. All for a suggested donation of $1 each way.  Call 781-665-4304 to reserve a ride.
