ANOTHER SEATTLE-NEW ENGLAND CHALLENGE?
Who can collect the most food and financial contributions for their local food pantries? Seahawks fans or Pats fans?

Seahawks-supporting churches in the Seattle area have issued a challenge to their Patriots-loving New England counterparts: who can collect the most non-perishable food items and cash donations for their local food pantries?
We already know the answer to any and all Seattle challenges, don’t we? So join us, support our team and a great cause!! The Highlands Church, UCC is a drop-off site and food will go to A Servant’s Heart and other local food pantries. Donations of money are also welcome and count towards the challenge. Drop off your food donations—non-perishable items, please, and check those expiration dates-- at the West Highland Avenue entrance to the Highlands Church, Monday through Thursday from 6 A.M. through 1 P.M. and on Super Bowl Sunday. The church is at 355 Franklin Street, Melrose and drop off is at rear of the building. Checks made out to A Servant’s Heart Food Pantry may be left in the mail slot in the lower-entrance door on Franklin Street.
Whoever has the highest number of donations of food and money at midnight on Super Bowl Sunday will be declared the winner. This is a contest where EVERYONE wins, since our spirited competition supports local people in need.
