The First Congregational Church in Melrose is holding its ANNUAL INDOOR YARD&nbsp;SALE &amp; BAKE SALE on SATURDAY May 2nd, from 9:00am until 1:00pm!&nbsp; This annual&nbsp;event is the largest, one-day, indoor yard sale in Melrose, and an event not to be&nbsp;missed!&nbsp;There is a little bit (or a lot) of everything! There will be small furniture, dishware, kitchen&nbsp;Items, vases, baskets, glassware, linens, athletic equipment, small electronics, camping gear, gardening tools, hand tools, collectibles, decorative items, craft supplies, toys,&nbsp;games, puzzles, office supplies, tons of BOOKS, and more! In addition, our Bake Sale will have cookies, brownies, scones, bars, etc., including&nbsp;gluten- and nut-free options. Come in and grab a sweet snack! First Congregational Church in Melrose (United Church of Christ) is located at 121 West&nbsp;Foster Street, Melrose (just off Main Street). There is plenty of parking in our lot and on&nbsp;street, and the sale is all on one level for easy mobility access. Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts &amp; crafts, food trucks, and more! Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock. It’s a popular event that many community members attend—and look forward to—every year. There will also be a sensory-friendly room available this year! Andover Choral Society directed by Matthew Buono and New England Classical Singers directed by David Hodgkins&nbsp;present "Songs of Freedom", a musical celebration of our nation's 250th Anniversary. The concert offers an exploration of choral music created at pivotal times in American history, from the 1700s to the 21st&nbsp;century. Themes of peace, conflict, gallantry, pioneering, and enduring hope resonate throughout this program – all presented by two of the Merrimack Valley’s most beloved choral groups. This special performance features a guest appearance by The Danvers Alarm List Company, an 18th-century living history reenactment group, creating a unique patriotic experience.&nbsp;Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for students.
