Amber Payne, of WGBH and NBC Nightly News, will lead a discussion on the changing landscape of local journalism, why it matters for democracy and community connections. Amber’s experience as an Executive Producer, editor, documentarian, and Manager of “The Emancipator,” a multi-media digital publication exploring solutions to racial inequity, elevates conversation around Black identity, social issues, and culture. There will be time for Q & A.
