Christmas, mostly memories
Of tinkling bells and evergreens,
Glittery scenes from magazines,
Visions of our hopes and dreams....
So much food and too much drink,
Forgetting we are on the brink
Of Christmas Future.
When we could say
Thank you for another day
Thank you for letting me
Open up my eyes to see
That we are standing on the brink
Of tomorrow
