Closing of a day

The sun has set but it is still light enough to read. The grey clouds to the west look like mountains behind the trees.

The moon is making its entrance from behind a pink/grey cloud to the east. This is not the time for a grand full moon, but rather a solid half saucer shining and bright.

No man in the moon to talk to; no glowing stars to count yet, only the time of day called dusk.

The lake is still except for an occasional fish or frog causing the start of a ripple to grow over the reflection of trees and sand.

The bird calls are different than they were during the heat of the day; but I hear the music.
