Did I say Winter Wonderland

The sky is a magnificent blue with soft white clouds.

The frozen lake, covered with snow shines in the sunlight.

The branches of the birch trees hang heavy with the new fallen snow; and the pines, tall and straight,are a maze of frozen cotton balls along their outstretched branches.

And the birds!
Chickadees, Junko, Goldfinch, Titmouse, Blue Jays all adding color to the day as they dash back and forth to the feeders, or forage for fallen seeds on the snow covered ground.

Yesterday a Cardinal brightened the grey day, but today the sun is shining illuminating the world around me.
