Blanket: style. Empty out the closets, trunks, boxes and bags. Pretend it’s a rainy day and in the attic,

You reach into a pile you made and pull out: one red

striped sock, a long itchy scarf, a corset, strings all in a tangle,
long John’s with a trap door, black patent leather shoes size seven, a
wide lapel tuxedo, a pair of to- the- elbow once white kid gloves, never separated,

a flannel night gown buttoned to the nose, two snake like belts with tarnished buckles,

a bow tie, a seersucker robe and one of chenille, a stocking cap with a tassel,
adjustable suspenders, a wide brimmed exultation of a straw hat with
dangling full blown rose, a pink camisole,a sensuous black taffeta slip,

a velour shirt with cigarette burns, faded silk drawers, a pair of partial angora mittens, an altered

wedding gown by Priscilla, booties in blue, penny loafers, argyle knee
socks, men ‘s garters, and a Living girdle!
