EPOCH of Melrose hosts backpack drive

EPOCH Senior Healthcare of Melrose will partner with Housing Families Inc. to host a backpack drive in preparation for the upcoming school year. Throughout July, EPOCH will collect new backpacks as well as school supplies, such as magic markers, crayons, ballpoint pens, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, notebooks, folders, loose leaf paper, calculators and more. Housing Families will distribute the backpacks to homeless and low income elementary, middle and high school students to equip them for a successful school year and help them realize their full academic potential. The public is invited to drop off donations in EPOCH’s front lobby any time during the day throughout July. For more information call 781-665-3950.
