"Dear Lisa" Program on Teen Dating Violence

The program "Dear Lisa" will be presented on Tuesday, September 28 at 7:00 pm at Stoneham Theatre, located at 395 Main Street in Stoneham. It features Tom Santoro, who tragically lost his 18-year-old daughter when she was murdered by her ex-boyfriend. He honors her life by sharing her story and helping to educate teens, parents and communities about teen dating violence.

The evening presentation follows an assembly for 9th and 10th graders that morning at , and will include a panel of students, experts and local resources, including representatives from the Melrose, Stoneham and Wakefield Alliances Against Violence and Police Departments, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office, and Respond, Inc.

The program is open to the public and free of charge with donations accepted; it is recommended for high school students and older. Ample free parking is available in nearby municipal lots. For more information please contact at info@maav.org or 781-662-2010.
